Tekla Taylor earned her BS in Geology with a Minor in Chemistry in 1994.  She spent over 24 years as a consulting geologist, specializing in environmental compliance, water management, planning and conservation and oil and gas operations.  She consulted to a variety of industries around the world, including mining, oil and gas, manufacturing and the food and beverage industry and served on the Board of Directors for Western Energy Alliance and Society of Petroleum Engineers Water Management and Planning Technical Committee.  Tekla also enjoyed managing and mentoring young engineers and geologists throughout their consulting careers.  She now spends her time enjoying retirement with her husband in their fishing cabin in Northern Colorado and their winter home in Florida on the Gulf of Mexico.
