Dr. Garside is a Lead Materials Engineer for SpaceX, serving as a metallurgist for the Falcon 9 Merlin Vacuum Engine. He has led the invention and implementation of new materials and processing strategies resulting in cost reduction, lower mass, and higher strength components which will help enable mankind to become a multi-planetary species.
