Lonnie Mercer
Lonnie Mercer is a Senior Geologist at Geosyntec Consultants where he works on projects involving environmental site investigation and remediation, environmental due diligence, and environmental compliance. With broad experience across a variety of industries, Lonnie works with local, national, and multinational clients in the oil and gas, chemical, manufacturing, mining, waste management, hospitality, and government industries. He is currently based in Salt Lake City but has also worked from offices in Houston, Texas and Auckland, New Zealand. Prior to joining Geosyntec, Lonnie held positions with two environmental/engineering consulting firms (ERM and URS) and the Utah Geological Survey. He holds a BS in Geology from the University of Utah and an MS in Geology from Brigham Young University.
